











Kart Track 101 - Day 2 (Advanced)
This is for any rider that has completed our Kart Track Day 1 course. The day 1 is a pre-requisite that is a beginner or intermediate in the riding curriculum.
The Advanced course will build upon the foundation we establish in the beginner/intermediate course and focus heavily on the following:
Pre-ride Assessment
Setting up your brain and body for the day ahead
Track walk and initial markers
Log Book Usage - how to grow consistently
Records - how many days on tires, oil changes, brake fluids, pad wear etc.
Temperature - what temps mean for pressures today and how they relate to prior sessions/days
What adjustments are being made from A.M. sessions to P.M. sessions
Motorcycle Condition
ambient condition assessment and bike setup
Where are my settings today and how do they compare to the last time I rode?
Advanced Corner Evaluation
Entry, balance, and exit corners
Deep Trailbraking
Adjusting lines using existing markers on the fly
Braking Techniques
Using rear to balance the chassis in deep braking zones
Using the rear to anti squat wheelie on corner exit
Lighter longer V.S. Harder & swifter
Proper lever modulation and feeling
Passing techniques
When and where to pass
How to manage your passes effectively and safely
Studying riders styles and placement to make the safest and most effective passes
